My name is Rimjhim Saxena (Pronounced : Rim-Jim Sax-éna). I am a Researcher at the Institute of Economics and Econometrics (IEE) at the Geneva School of Economics and Management (GSEM) at the University of Geneva, Switzerland. I graduated with my PhD in Economics from the University of Colorado, Boulder in May 2025. I like working at the intersection of Climate + Labor + Development, preferably with a good coffee.
I worked as a Pre-Doctoral Fellow at Environmental Defense Fund in Summer of 2021 at the Office of Chief Economist. Before starting graduate school, I worked as a Research Assistant at Center for the Advanced Study of India, University of Pennsylvania. I hold a Masters degree in Economics from Boston University, MBA in Finance and Bachelors in Industrial Engineering from Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, India (#10 engineering school in India, #997 globally).
